Bodrum: Coves, Castles and Sunsets
·Involatus Redaktion

Bodrum has two faces: nightlife and marinas on one side, quiet fishing villages on the other. Best of all, they're only a few kilometres apart.
Peninsula highlights
- Castle of St. Peter – home to the Museum of Underwater Archaeology
- Gümüşlük – waterfront fish restaurants at sunset
- Yalıkavak – a modern marina and windmills
Out on the water
A day trip on a traditional gulet takes you to coves only reachable by sea. Lunch on board is usually included.
Tip: In the shoulder season (May, October) accommodation can be up to 40% cheaper than in August.
Getting there
Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) is about 35 minutes from the centre; Havaş buses are timed to arrivals.
